Valle Eatery Bar, nestled within the Hilton Garden Inn, offers a modern atmosphere and a varied menu primarily featuring pizzas, burgers, and light sandwiches. While some dishes impress—like the delectable tri-tip tacos—others may disappoint, with overcooked steaks and borderline spoiled dressings. Service shines, with friendly and attentive staff, particularly during quieter hours. The bar impresses with a selection of local brews and exquisite cocktails, making it a great meetup destination. Though the dining experience fluctuates, the eatery's ambiance and service might keep patrons coming back for the drinks and casual fare.
Hilton Garden Inns are not generally recognized for their epicurean accomplishments however I was curious to try out the Valle Eatery Bar as it is/presented as a branded restaurant. Additionally, being a travel nerd and a Marriott platinum elite, I'm down to check out a new hotel to see what's on tap. The menu is lacks variety but they may be partially forgiven considering this is a hotel restaurant in Lompoc. Tapas aside, you basically have pizza(s), burger(s), or light sandwiches to choose from. I opted for the Valle Burger thinking it would be the standard, safe choice. Truth-be-told, the meat was a little on the dry side and could've used more (or any) seasoning. The accompanying side salad had a healthy mix of greens however a few cherry tomatoes had definitely passed their prime and the Caesar dressing had a layer of small bubbles on the top--a classic sign of spoilage/food contamination. Against my better judgement, I had small sample which didn't taste anything like a Caesar/creamy Caesar. It had a confused flavor, for sure nothing I'd intentionally order. Conversely, the service was fast, friendly, and efficient. Overall it was a positive experience; however to be fair I was the only one there towards the end of their lunch service. The atmosphere is open and modern and there are a lot of good seating options to choose from, even an outdoor patio. To top it off, the bar maintains a healthy selection of local brews on tap. Honestly, I'm hesitant to eat there again however I wouldn't pass on the bar/lobby as a meetup spot with friends.
My favorite go-to for a great cocktail and quiet atmosphere. Alex, is brilliant in customer service and beverage production. The whole crew is always friendly and offers a great service.
Stayed in the hotel for a few weeks and ate here regularly. The Pizza was delicious. The Lompoc Tacos were amazing, they were tri tip tacos on a homemade tortilla. The price to me was worth it.
Came in for drinks and apps. Party of 2 sat immediately. Restrooms were extremely clean! Waitress, Ari, did great! Thank you for such great service! We ordered the following during happy hour, a glass of chardonnay, 2 Dragon Fruit Mojitos, The pork bellytacos, the brussel sprouts lightly fried, and a margherita pizza. The drinks are exquisite and the food was all cookedperfectly. The pizza could have been a light more toasted. Great place, excellent service, and delicious food. Will come again,just earlier to enjoy happy hour longer.
The food is delicious, and the bar is excellent. However, the service in the dining area tends to be a bit slow. I will certainly come back soon.
