What Anonym dislikes about Cura:
I was totally disappointed in this restaurant, I would remove some Michelin stars and I have been to many all over the world. The wine selection was terrible, the servers and staff were not bad, but the food, was totally disappointing. I would never go back or refer anyone. For the price, I had a great meal at an almost Michelin restaurant that treated me like a queen with a degustation menu of over 10 dishes and did... View all feedback.
Excellent from beginning to end. Eating was a pleasure, the staff made a wonderful experience even better.
Excellent and interesting food combination. Waiter is super attentive and very professional when we have questions. Overdated expectations around

My guests were certainly impressed with the renowned squid ‘pasta’ dish. I had the Raizes menu and was satisfied with it overall, with the exception of the taco dish (the green asparagus on the menu, I believe) and the artichoke dish which I felt were quite underwhelming. Also, my guests and I felt that the seasoning on the whole was strong (this is not criticism though, just a comment for interested parties to take note of). Having said that, the service was exceptional, servers were articulate, polite and respectful, and they accommodated any requests we made. Do take note that the entire meal is a lengthy one, expect it to take 3.5-4h+ (or longer). Think we arrived at 6.30pm and only left at about 10pm. All in all a pleasurable experience. A highly refined menu expertly prepared. Flavor and presentation were infinitely close to perfection. The iberico pork, in particular, was the best iberico pork I had ever had. Service was first class, and atmosphere was luxurious yet relaxed. The local wine pairing was superb, and gave us a taste of what Portuguese wine had to offer. All in all in line with what one expects at a Michelin one star restaurant. If I were to be picky, however, like so many Michelin starred restaurants, the food was a bit too safe. I feel that the Michelin star system discourages creativity, which is a pity for chefs of this caliber. Price per person: €50+ Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
