I went to this restaurant just because my last name happens to be Tinoco and while been in Lisbon I thought it had to a interesting choice, my family and friends in our group did not speak Portuguese nor I so it took a while to choose from the Menu and or understand the owner but he was super patient and nice. Great lunch. Friendly service, tasty and generous meals. Place full of locals. We will come back. Lunch 6.50 8.00 euros.
This place is a little gem among the touristy restaurants in the area. They serve authentic Portuguese cuisine. I had arroz de tamboril, which was translated as prawn risotto, but it's actually full of monkfish, clams, and prawns. The portion was massive.

The food was delicious, and the staff were very friendly. I returned to this restaurant twice during my vacation. The meat was incredible, and the octopus amazed me. The cooking was quick.
