While visiting family in my parents' hometown of Adare, I took a stroll toward the gates of Adare Manor and noticed The Good Room. The building is charming, much like many of the cottages in Adare. We visited The Oakroom for breakfast on a Monday morning. Unfortunately, a few of the items we wanted were not available that day. My child wanted to choose something from the sweet treat display but decided against it because wasps were landing on and sampling the items. It was a shame these treats weren’t covered. I selected this place as was recommended to me . Very disappointed bun burger on chicken burger wasn't toasted and cold. Chicken very little flavour all in all very mediocre Toilets clean staff nice
Amazing breakfast! We had the veggie, the Irish, the no carb and the pancakes. Everything was fresh and tasty. If you like hot chocolate oh man you will love the steamed milk with chocolate bomb spoon. Sooooo delicious. Pleasant service and very clean.
A fantastic place to eat, especially for breakfast or lunch. We've been coming here for the last 10 years every 6 months or so, on our trips to Kerry. The food is always so fresh and they update the menu regularly so always something different. The Buddha bowl and prawn tostada on our last trip was delicious. Good vegetarian options are always available. Price is relatively good and the service is always great. We'll be back again soon
We have visited The Good Room many times and most of the time the food is very good. There’s good choice on the menu and something for everyone. However, the service is an issue unfortunately. It takes far too long to order , we’ve often had to wait a good 15/20 mins after seating and then have to go get a waitress ourselves or try to get the attention of one. It’s a pity because as mentioned the food is consistently good but poor service leaves a bad taste I’m afraid.
