Their winter 2017 timetable for Irish dancing is as follows: Monday to Thursday and Sunday from 9pm to 11pm, and Friday to Saturday from 7pm to 9pm. Everyone is welcome to enjoy the delicious food served 7 days a week until 10pm, with a variety of breakfast, lunch, and dinner options available. Situated on the site of one of Limerick's oldest pubs dated back to 1724, The Locke Bar offers a cozy and historic setting, overlooking the Abbey River with old wood paneling and open fires. It is the perfect place to unwind in any season, and a must-visit in Limerick. The Locke also serves as an excellent private party venue, with 5 private bars including The Loft, able to accommodate up to 350 people for various occasions. They provide fresh finger food selections suitable for all tastes and events, from small get-togethers to large celebrations. The Locke Bar also offers Irish music and dance performances daily for a true cultural experience.
The Locke Bar offers a wonderful dining experience with a wide variety of delicious food at reasonable prices. While the bar service may sometimes be lacking, the overall impression is positive. With live music that may be a bit too loud and some room for improvement on desserts, the restaurant shines in terms of atmosphere and food quality. The terrace BBQ was disappointing, but the indoor dining experience was much more positive with friendly staff, regular check-ins, and a great gluten-free menu. Overall, the Locke Bar is a popular spot in Limerick with a vibrant urban atmosphere and efficient service.
