Während eines kurzen Zwischenstops in Lienz haben wir dieses schöne Café entdeckt. Im Wintergarten haben wir einen sehr schönen rührigen Sitzplatz gefunden. Das Café ist recht klein und bietet etwa 8 Tische im Wintergarten/Garten. Die Speisekarte ist klein, hat uns jedoch sehr gut gefallen. Neben der festen Speisekarte gab es vier Tagesgerichte. Wir hatten Ben's Burger, den Mozzarella Salat, sowie ein Sandwich. Alles hat sehr gut geschmeckt. Auch auf vegetarische Sonderwünsche wurde eingegangen.
Die Kuchen sind hier kleine kulinarische Kunstwerke. Alles schokoladige hat einen vollen Geschmack, wie eine Praline. Das Aroma der Sauerkirsch-Limonade mit Rosmarin war ebenfalls überwältigend. Essen gibt es hier auch, sah gut aus (haber wir nicht probiert). Klare Empfehlung!
Immer wieder ein netter Platz, um sich mit einer Freundin auf einenTratsch zu treffen.Guter Kaffee und nettes Essen sowie eine freundliche Bedienung.Leider ist das Kaffee inzwischen wegen seiner Beliebtheit zu klein geworden, und so kann es passieren, dass man keinen Platz mehr bekommt.
We didn't want to pay for the expensive hotel breakfast so this place was found on TripAdvisor. Your breakfast was amazing. Great food and coffee and very friendly service. Eggs Benedikt, salmon and avocado all fantastic.
What a jewel and unexpected. During a trip we stopped in the capital of East Tyrol in Austria and hoped as always to find a decent food. We were more than enthusiastic when we randomly stumbled over the cafe. If... your travels will guide you through Lienz during meals, you will not go wrong through this restaurant. It is a short walk from the centre of the city and the pedestrian area. During the summer months you can enjoy your meal in the beautiful, protected garden. We had the pleasure of meeting Chef Benjamin, who had grown most of the poor quality of meat in the feed in the USA. Chef Benjamin knows quality ingredients and sources on site. All three of us were delighted with our food and drinks (freshly pressed). Enjoy!
