best place in ostia to eat overall, quality and quantity are on point and the prices(as high as they can be) are proportional to the quality, stunned from the food the first time and now that i came back i’m even more amazed. there are some new things on the menu and there’s a wonderful selection of ingredients in each plate. What User doesn't like about Er Mattatoio:
I wasn't blown away by this place, and actually the meat in itself was a bit disappointing, the meat was tough and my tagliata with tartufo was too salty, I couldn't finish it. On the other hand, the pinsa with mortadella was excellent and the hamburgers looked very interesting. I wouldn't go back for the meat but I might try the pinsa and the hamburgers.
