Very quiet for a restaurant on a Saturday evening, we should have seen this as a warning sign! the dinge began to go bad when the first drinks arrived at our table. I had a whole prise peroni that was knocked over by the waitress. she went and took some tissue I thought was for me, but she used it to wipe the table while giggling about the chaos I was in. I had to ask for more tissue to dry me off. I asked if we could have these round drinks free and she said yes. no attempt was made to delete the floor that was a pool beer and an accident waiting for it. we ordered chicken breast that looked more than it was taken by a budgie it was so small...more
We were able to squeeze in last minute for a Christmas Eve lunch. We ordered two delicious roasts, two desserts, and kids' fish fingers, chips, and beans for less than £40. Highly recommend this restaurant.
I made a reservation at this restaurant that I've been wanting to try for some time. We ordered the festive burger and it was fantastic!
What a wonderful local restaurant and pub! Great staff, really friendly, hospitable and welcoming. They have a great traditional menu plus a specials boards and a lovely selection of sweets. A well stocked bar with a great choice of beers, wines and spirits at very reasonable prices. If you want traditional meals, well priced with a warm welcoming atmosphere, you must try the Plum Pudding.
