Even though I didn't actually dine here on this visit, I have several times in the past. And there's a reason for that... super good, right out of your moms skillet style food. The staff is incredibly friendly, and excellent at their jobs. I like the fact that it's not far from the store and separated by hallways and walls. Whenever we travel north on i25, we always make sure to stop at Kran Cafe for their delicious breakfast burritos. We typically call in our order about 20-15 miles before arriving, and the burritos are always ready for us when we get there. A few months ago, we called in an order but unfortunately our truck broke down about 15 miles away. The chef at Kran Cafe kindly delivered our order to us, and the burritos were still delicious. Thank you, Kran Cafe, for always providing us with amazing food!
I used to enjoy the food at this restaurant, but my recent experience was disappointing. My Enchilada dinner consisted of two hard tortillas with an uncooked green chili, a small amount of cheese, and a dry, cold enchilada. The beans and rice were also underwhelming. My partner's chicken dish was equally unappetizing, with cold, fried, and dry chicken cubes. Overall, I was not satisfied with my meal and do not plan on dining there again.
We were stranded at the truck stop and decided to have dinner and breakfast there the next morning. The food was fantastic and all the staff we encountered were very friendly. It was the perfect small, quiet spot to take a break. Great job to everyone!
I had no idea this place was here. no sign of any kind. great eating, clean, friendly service, simply no possibility for the traveling to find it. when they travel I-25 south of albuquerque, stop them and give it a try. they have to find it themselves. in a travel center without registration
Breakfast burrito is more than excellent! It is also huge! I chose egg, sausage, refried beans, green chile, and cheese.
