Was Marc Fishman at Checkers a mag?
I decided to venture off the usual path as a resident of Homewood to try something different. Sure, it's just another fast food place, but hear me out! I managed to make the round trip from Ridge to Lansing in 30 minutes, and my food was still warm upon arrival. This was my first visit to Checkers, and it will likely be my last. I ordered the Buford combo with fries through the drive-thru. When I reached the window, the male clerk was on his cellphone and responded to me in a rude manner when I spoke to him. He clearly seemed to be in a bad mood. I apologized in case I had done something wrong, but he didn't seem to care.

The supervisor was always on the phone and expected us to share our order with him. Seriously?
THEY ARE UNBELIEVABLY SLOW WHEN YOU ORDER FROM INSIDE! THEY HAD ME WAITING FOR 45 MINUTES NO LIES NO EXAGGERATION! ITS REDICULOUS AND INCONVENIENT!

The food quality was okay; the fries were indeed as good as people say. However, I still prefer Portillo's overall. I probably won't give Checkers another chance.
