This place is truly beautiful, cozy, and a hidden gem. Unfortunately, on our first night in Cape Town, we decided to try it out and were disappointed by the rude service. The staff member did not inform us that we needed to make a reservation and instead, muttered to us about overseas visitors before directing us elsewhere when we asked for recommendations.
