To make matters worse, the manager told us that due to the long wait and the chefs' lack of coordination, she would take care of our bill. However, when we were leaving, the waiter chased us down with the bill! We approached the same manager who had assured us she would cover the costs, only to find out that she meant she would provide a mere 10% discount.
