This is a regular haunt of ours, for a stop off on a walk/bike ride for a sandwich and a pint or for dinner. Always good quality pub food, great selection on the bar menu or the a la carte menu. We have had an extremely poor experience at this pub. We were enticed into the pub by the offer of a ten pound menu. we ordered the soup to start as the menu was very limited and the salmon with noodles,. The soup was barely OK and we had to send the main course back twice as the noodles were not cooked.
