We have eaten here many times. Salmon is always great and so is the tuna tartare. The smoky groats and the cous cous are divine! They used to have delicious rolls that they served with olive oil. I was sad to see that they no longer offered them. View all feedback.
Visitamos el restaurante en familia, fuimos alrededor de 10 personas, pasamos una de las mejores cenas en familia de nuestras vidas, todo fue impecable, la comida deliciosa, el gerente es la persona más amable del mundo, mantuvo nuestra experiencia siempre a tope, inclusive nos enviaron en cortesía postres para toda la familia, felicidades al chef tiene un gran talento. esperamos volver pronto en nuestra siguiente visita a Puerto Vallarta, lo recomendamos mucho, no se lo pierdan!!!
Beautiful sunset views, attentive staff, and creative martini style cocktails. We were staying near old PV so it was good to see what other parts of PV look like. It's a good 20 to 30 min ride to get there from old PV. Taxi drivers seemed to be reluctant to take us. Apparently they feel they don't make as much on the longer trips. Once there the cocktails were my favorite part of the menu. I had a basil martini and my spouse had a jalapeno martini. Fresh ingredients made these drinks extra special. Out waiter allowed us to take our time and relax. For an appetizer we had the muscles. They were good. My wife had the fresh lobster and I had red snapper encrusted with pistachios. Mine was the better of the two. For dessert I had a high end tequila and the manager made my wife a special dessert martini that was off menu. It was made with caramalized garlic and melted ice cream. I know. Sounds awful but It was actually quite good. The best part of La Kliff was the attentive staff and the views. It's a must try at least once if you are a PV regular.
Quiero compartir con todos ustedes la terrible experiencia que viví en el restaurante Le kliff Puerto Vallarta, en el cual me queda claro que las palabras “respeto y compromiso” para con el cliente son completamente desconocidas para el dueño y sólo piensa en no perder dinero, así mismo como por un títere que se hace llamar gerente (Everardo Vázquez) con sus propias palabras manifestó estar atado de manos, imposibilitado de hacer algo más, los cuales fuimos tratados de la peor manera.Reservamos para el cumpleaños de mi esposa el sábado 29 de Julio del año en curso (cierto día se llevaría a cabo una boda pero dijeron tener abierto al público también) al cual en el momento de nuestro arribo vimos que decía en la puerta de entrada "evento privado" y al entrar nos informan que la novia había llamado dos días antes para incrementar el número de invitados y ya no habría servicio al público pero nunca llamaron para cancelar nuestra reservación y en ese momento el gerente nos ofreció por la molestia y falta de respeto de la cual estábamos siendo objeto, hacerse cargo COMPLETAMENTE de nuestra cena (cosa que repitió tres veces) y aseguró se nos recibiría con bombos y platillos a lo cual accedimos pensando era lo que menos podían hacer. Al otro día nos presentamos y nos dieron un lugar preferencial, estábamos pidiendo apenas las bebidas cuando el gerente se acerca a decirnos que el dueño le había dicho que la empresa no podía hacerse cargo de toda nuestra cuenta y que lo comprendieramos (y a nosotros quien nos comprende lo que ya habíamos gastado en 2 viajes y una cena que pagamos en otro lugar porque nadie nos llamó) y lo que nos podían ofrecer era el consumo de mi esposa solamente o el 50% de la cuenta total y sería él mismo quien lo pagaría de su bolsillo pues el solo agacha la cabeza y obedece órdenes. (así lo dijo) Es increíble la falta de profesionalismo del tipo (no pudieron llamar antes de la boda para decirnos que el lugar estaba reservado por completo y al día siguiente por qué no llamaron para avisar que el dueño había cambiado el ofrecimiento que nos hizo su empresa???) pienso que es una grosería que jueguen con los clientes de esta manera, cabe mencionar que el lugar está ubicado a 40 minutos de puerto vallarta, al final nos dieron $200 pesos para la gasolina y regresamos por demás decepcionados pues este pseudo restaurant dista muchísimo de trato humano. La verdad la peor experiencia que he tenido en muchos años; Afortunadamente hay muchísimos dueños conscientes que saben que ellos viven de nosotros clientes y gerentes inteligentes que saben cómo manejar las diferentes situaciones que se presentan y no dicen y se retractan de inmediato cobardemente. Es una pena que hasta su propio personal (meseros) se percatara con claridad y nos dijera que no se valía lo que nos estaban haciendo.
Our family enjoyed the outdoor seating and the waiters did a great job of quickly pushing other tables in when it was raining out of the blue. We were under an umbrella and a big tree and didn't have to move and the rain stopped quickly. Our teenage kids weren't in many nice restaurants and they loved the creative starters, especially the homemade croutons on the Caesar salad, delicious! We all had very good meals and were too full for dessert, which is unfortunate because I have eaten the chocolate bread pudding with baileys before and it is divine! There are so many tasty options and we enjoyed the scallops as well as the duck, key lime chicken and the flank. You can't go wrong!
What an amazing dining experience. The best kept secret on Vallarta. If you come here it is a must. Ask for Luis. He is as good as the food in 5 Star service.
