Was Anonym at Kangazims a mag?
Located in Kuranda, there were a few other Cafe/restaurants around the same place in the Kuranda village market place. We went in because the place looked nice, colorful and funnky, burgers looked bigger and price seemed value-for-money. We ordered 3 burgers, fish, chicken and bacon & egg. Its took a little more time than I expected, around 15-20 mins. But the burgers were delicious and decent size, well made and qui... View all feedback.
What Anonym dislikes about Kangazims:
Service was terrible. Waitress threw our sandwiches on the table and walked away. When she returned with our chips, I asked if they had tomato sauce, she barked 'Yep!' before we could also ask for cutlery. When she returned and threw the sauce on the table we asked for a knife. She let out a loud groan and stormed back to the kitchen returning to throw the knife to one of us and storm back off. Food was OK, service r... View all feedback.

Woman was wearing a black dress with a tattoo on her shoulder. The manager should know she needs some training in customer service. God help them if she is the manager.
Very ordinary food was a typical greasy spoon roadhouse style chicken burger was ok nothing special. We have been in FNQ for 2 weeks even went over the river north to cape tribulation and they had far far better food and they have no power and no running water. This has been the most disappointing place i have eaten.
Rude, unhelpful. In a tourist area have cash only. Would not recommend this place. Certainly do not support the intent of tourism attraction to Kuranda with bad servic.
Kangazims Cafe is a delightful sidewalk café in Kuranda. The atmosphere is simple, clean, and distinctly Australian. I tried the beef pie, which was excellently made with a flaky crust and a hearty filling. The accompanying gravy was fantastic. Instead of the usual fries, I opted for a fresh and crisp salad. I also enjoyed a delicious pumpkin soup. Although dining takes place on the sidewalk, the tables are sheltered since Kuranda is nestled within a rainforest, providing a pleasant setting. My dining experience was enjoyable, complemented by quick and friendly service. I highly recommend this café.
