This restaurant has some of the best cakes in New Zealand. The cakes are big, hearty, and absolutely delicious. My friend and I stopped here on the way back from surfing and it was the perfect treat. If you're a carnivore, the steak here is out of this world. And for my vegetarian (and non-vegetarian) friends, the maverick dish is a must-try.
