L’ambiente was one of the best Italian restaurants where I could enjoy eating during my travels. the elegant service of the personal was certainly suited to the elegant eating and the superior taste.
I've been to L'ambiente several times as it is close to home. The food is good and reasonably priced, the service is friendly and child-friendly. What drags the restaurant down is the decor inside needs a makeover, and on the terrace you get the...impression that you're in a car park. OK for a dinner with the kids, but not my idea for a romantic meal.
It's one thing to eat well, simple but delicious! It's another thing to eat in an ambience coupled with an attentive service - something that is not so easy to find. We enjoyed a lunchtime meal that resulted in a prolonged stay - where do you get that kind of opportunity nowadays? So good that I felt I had to ask if we had overextended our stay? No...happy guests are welcome and a drink on the house as a sign of our appreciation? Go there, enjoy, stay, drink, chat and partake of the excellent service - you won"t regret it!
