new owners who leave an evaluation are the employees sooo friendly to welcome them when they come, the customer experience is definitiw on their priority list. eating is just as good as damm, only one of the lattes today tried and wow I am addicted. opens early and so ideal to jump for a quick brew or breakfast, yes can defo see that I came back here more than I was earlier than gcs. I'm surprised where this unit is based. We were only people there. Wife had tea and as it's a coffee place I had coffee. It was rough, almost like the stuff you get out of a coffee machine. We had a little food as the choose wasn't up our street so a biscuit was all we had. They will not be getting our trade View all feedback.
I recently visited this restaurant after a long time due to Covid. Unfortunately, I won't be coming back again. I ordered a sandwich and found that the two ladies working there were unfriendly and did not smile at all.
My friend and I visited GC cafe this lunchtime for a sandwich, but finished up ordering jacket potatoes. It was an excellent choice, I had coronation chicken and my friend had beans and cheese. We also ordered two teas and were served with a tea pot and jug of water each.I couldn't believe it when the bill arrived, it was £10-20 for the two of us. J
The food at this restaurant was awful, with a lasagna that was oily and still frozen in the middle after being heated in the microwave. The side salad was made of brown lettuce leaves, unripe tomatoes, and onions with the skin still on. The owner was rude and disrespectful, talking about customers in a disgusting manner and mistreating the staff. I wouldn't recommend going back, even if I had the time during my lunch break. It's no surprise that this place doesn't have many customers, given its location. Save yourself some time and money and drive five minutes to the Villa Farm Shop instead.
I have reviewed this restaurant once before and found it to be poor quality, while the other time was not too bad. Unfortunately, this time around was another poor experience. I stopped by on my way to a meeting on Tuesday morning after the Bank Holiday, and the staff seemed half asleep. There were different staff members compared to my previous visit. The bacon sandwich I ordered had only 2 small pieces of bacon on a stale t-cake with a thick layer of margarine. The coffee was lukewarm and very strong. I intended to go back at lunchtime to address my concerns, but parking was difficult so I decided not to bother. I have given this place three chances now, and I will not be returning.
This place gets business purely on the basis that it’s the only cafe on site. Over priced, poor slow service (apart from one who was away on mat leave) and mediocre food. It doesn’t cost anything to deliver service with a smile but you won’t get one here!
