Arrived here for a small get together the Wednesday before Xmas, they had suffered power cuts during the morning which had delayed them finishing Xmas dinner for a large group, but the quickly set up another space for us.The welcome was warm and friendly.Long live the village pub. The outside is unpromising with peeling paint on windows and various debris around the car park. The conservatory is uninviting, they should close off some of the glass and roof to make it seem warmer. We sat in the restaurant area which was OK but no more. However having said all that the food was good and the staff really friendly. It exceeded our expectations. View all feedback.
