The Bective is an inviting restaurant located in the charming heritage town of Kells, Co Meath. Enjoy delicious food in a cozy atmosphere, and relax in our attractive patio garden area. Reservations are recommended, but walk-ins are also welcome. Our family-friendly venue offers a children's menu and caters to groups and private parties. We are open from 5pm Wednesday to Saturday, and from 3pm on Sundays. Convenient street parking is available outside. Additionally, we have a private dining room and bar upstairs, perfect for functions with seating for up to 50 people. The space includes a private terrace, bar, and bathroom facilities. Head Chef Colin Shipp and Restaurant Manager Laura Martin are excited to welcome you to The Bective.

Located in Kells, this restaurant is a top-tier dining establishment. I recently had the pleasure of trying their early bird 3-course dinner, which was not only delicious but also very affordable. The ambiance and decor of the restaurant were delightful, enhancing my overall dining experience.
The dinner was fantastic, with delicious food and generous portions. The service was excellent! I would definitely recommend this place.
As always, excellent eating and service. highly recommended. we were young with our 11-year-olds. it was a last minute booking and we had the early bird menu.
I highly recommend trying the cocktails at this restaurant. The atmosphere was lovely and the food was delightful.
