Mixed but generally good. We stayed at Belle Époque Hotel Victoria for a week and ate in their restaurant every evening. We had one or two disappointments, but on the whole, we were very happy with the food and there were always choices for vegetarians and fish eaters. Visited in September 2022 and it was cold and wet (not the hotel's fault! . Kandersteg is very pretty even in the rain. We stayed in the hotel for 2 nights and the restaurant and bar were closed both nights. They did book us a table on request in the Hotel Adler across the road.
