The Rule ‘eat where the locals eat’ does not apply to Grilliaki. The place was packed with Greeks devouring hunks of meat, which we leant were called ‘pork sticks’ (their translation). I was ravenous so ordered the pork grill (as all other meats were off the menu). Even considering I was so hungry I could barely tolerate the chewy, tasteless grey matter which we received.
