We spent 5 night in Kamikatsu learning about the zero waste initiative. Three mornings 5 of us had breakfast at the cafe. We found the service to be impeccable and polite. The breakfast was beautifully served and delicious, particularly the homemade jams from seasonal fruits. The ingredients are locally sourced which added to the taste. We stopped by for lunch at Cafe Polestar. It was a bit of a mixed bag. Some parts of the lunch were delicious and some ingredients were on the level of a supermarket (ham especially). Some lunch sets also felt slightly too pricey for the amount of food. Same with the deserts and scones.
