one of the few restaurants in Kalkan that have a understanding of vegan. many restaurants have a vegetarian menu, but each dish includes cheese, butter or cream and employees do not understand what vegan means. the staff in rose knew exactly what vegan meant and made sure we had a nice dinner. we had vegan brot with hummus, cig cooked (delicious spinach View all feedback.
We went here after we had read the other great reviews and it was excellent. the waiter was very friendly and when we explained that we were vegan, he was very happy with the explanation what was and was not vegan. for starters we ordered humus with chips. we originally tried to order humus with linseed meatballs, but after we have informed us that they did not serve the cold starters (it was in the next season, so it is understandable) he went to check with the chef and told us they would make us a fresh humus factory anyway! When the appetizers arrived, he also brought us an extra separate dish veganer pitta (we were with carnivores and they were served non-veganem brot) and was very conscientious to tell us what was and was not vegan. it was really great to be accepted and accommodated. for the net we went for the vegetarian spaghetti (which is also vegan) the whole food was absolutely delicious! the humus was raised, the chips were beautiful and soft and crispy, the brot was tasty and the spaghetti was also simply amazing. it was also a great worth (the spaghetti was 96 lira £4.90 at the time of our visit.) to it from the waiter offered us tees and coffees on the house and then out Turkish delight with a separate vegan dish for us! I enjoyed my dinner here and would definitely recommend rose for all vegan visit kalkan, they made us feel very home and eating was delicious!

Really good restaurant we visited twice on holiday. the owner yunis is very knowledgeable about vegan eating and offered to customize several dishes for me. so kind and nothing too much annoyed. the father of the owner bakes brot on the ground and made me fresh pitta (no milk) with my hummus. they bring them fresh dives and pide as an appetizer, also helpful show that are vegan friendly. I had the vegetable cuprole for anyway that was delicious. really nice to eat somewhere where you don't feel like being an annoying vegan lol! so friendly and helpful. we would definitely visit Calkan again. reasonable prices too.
We stumbled upon this hidden gem of a restaurant located just around the corner from where we were staying during our first visit to Kalkan. We were impressed by the delicious food, excellent service, and friendly staff on our initial visit, but our experience was even better upon returning last night. We decided to try the specialty Eastern Turkish dishes recommended by the family-run restaurant, including mouthwatering lamb dishes that were beautifully presented and cooked to perfection. Our meal started with complimentary bread dips (hot rolls cooked in the open pizza oven and delivered straight to our table), followed by a delectable dessert. To finish off the evening, we were offered complimentary apple or Turkish tea. The staff, all members of the family, were delightful and went above and beyond to make our experience special. This restaurant offers great value for money, and we highly recommend it!
I had a fantastic evening at Rose tonight. It was my first time dining here and I had a wonderful meal. I highly recommend this restaurant for its top-notch service, delicious food, and attention to detail. It definitely deserves 5 stars. The owner's son was also incredibly lovely and went above and beyond to make our experience special.
