Feedback
Opus restaurant offers a mixed experience, with some visitors enjoying the ambiance and service, while others found the food disappointing and the service lacking. Some guests were pleased with the excellent food and atmosphere, while others encountered rude staff and slow service. Despite some setbacks, many patrons plan to return in hopes of a better experience. The beautifully decorated restaurant and knowledgeable staff make Opus a popular choice for special occasions and date nights, although some caution it may be on the pricier side. Overall, Opus offers a charming atmosphere and delicious food with varying levels of service quality.
We tried the prix fixe dinner and found everything to be delicious. The menu options were excellent, the service was fantastic, and the drinks were top-notch. The ambiance was lovely and the portion sizes were just right, although adding some votive candles to the tables would enhance the romantic atmosphere even more.
The food and the ambiance were excellent. Unfortunately the delivery adversely colored the experience. The hostess was rude and actually turned her head to talk to someone else midway through greeting us. We were seated at a table that wasn’t bussed (had an empty cocktail). We were not given the opportunity to enjoy appetizers while we surveyed the menu but rather instructed to order the entire meal at once. Waitstaff attention was poor and getting a second drink should be ordered when your first one arrives or be prepared to be thirsty. Because of the food and atmosphere I will go back and write this review with the hopes of these criticisms will be constructive.
Celebrated family member birthday dinner. the waiter who served was excellent, informative, but not to his fault he was obviously working other tables and the establishment is understaffed. we were a party of nine persons, and were served dinnermain course two hours after we were seated. the food was good, but waiting so long was unfortunate. The restaurant is very bigand obviously very popular but being way understaffed with waiters and chefs they have lost their personal touch and are nolonger im my perspective a 5 star restaurant.
Dined at the bar as we always do. The bar staff is excellent! The wines list is impressive as is the selection of wines by the glass. Sushi is on point and very good! I had a NY strip that was okay but not sure worth $75.00. Ambiance in NYC vibe likewithout the travel and the crime!! Cheers!
