I’m giving this restaurant 2 stars primarily because the server was charming. Unfortunately, the food did not meet expectations. The bread was stale, and the Caesar salad arrived without any dressing. To add to the disappointment, the pasta was overcooked, and the sauce was bland and very thick. Absolutely amazing! Savannah provided us with outstanding service and the food was excellent! If you're in Jamestown, it's definitely worth taking a few extra minutes to sit down and enjoy the experience.
I had a terrible experience at this restaurant. The food tasted like it came straight from a can—I've had better Italian cuisine from Domino's. On top of that, I encountered some unwelcoming behavior. I was there with two friends, and we were treated unfairly. We waited two hours for our meals after a long workday, and during that time, a large party arrived and was served before us, despite us being a smaller group of three. It felt uncomfortable as the larger group kept glancing at us and laughing while they enjoyed their food and drinks. To make matters worse, the woman sitting behind me kept bumping my chair and laughing about it. The atmosphere felt uninviting, especially for anyone from a minority group. I strongly recommend staying away from this place!
Fantastic food and excellent service! The atmosphere is delightful, though the space is a bit small with tables placed quite closely together. As for kid-friendliness, there's no dedicated kids' menu, so it may not be the best spot for very young children, but it's a nice option to have in this town.
We are traveling to Canmore, Alberta, Canada and stopped in Jamestown as a halfway point. We always ask the locals where they like to eat. The lady at the front desk at Hampton Inn suggested Davoni's. It was a little after 9 and they closed at 10, butthey were very nice and bubbly and said they could absolutely serve us. They brought out fresh hot breadsticks that were verygood. We ordered an appetizer that I can't remember the name of, it was bread with diced chicken and Alfredo sauce and was sogood! Our dinner was the chicken parmesan which we shared and it was a good thing because the chicken was so huge. There wasmore than enough food for both me and my husband, and it was divine! The waiter was very attentive and made sure we were takencare of. If you are in the area, or live here and haven't tried it yet, go! 5 stars guys! Bravo!
We stopped in passing through about a half hour before closing to order dinner to-go, were greeted by the friendliest staff who probably could have been closing up early. They welcomed us with a smile and helped select wine and an appetizer to enjoy whilewe waited for our pastas. The food was made quickly but tasted as fresh and authentic as could be. Had the fried mozzarellaslices (made in house- as is most of their menu), Italian flag ravioli and pasta Milano. I knew we found a gem before we tasteda bite of the food. Everything tasted fresh and authentic: will definitely be making trips to Jamestown just to eat here and trythe rest of the menu. Staff, food and atmosphere like this are truly a rare find. Thankful for such a quality establishment!
