Was Lady Libra at Godfrey's a mag?
I wish I could give this place 10 stars! From the moment I walked in, I knew the food was going to be incredible. I had the most horrible experience in 56 years of my life from a restaurant that showed no professionalism and accountability for their actions at their business. I was trying to order takeout at their business on April 29, 2023. I called the restaurant at 1:40 p.m., 1:45 p.m., 1:50 p.m. and 1:55 p.m. no answer the phone just rang, rang and rang. The employees never did answer the call or return a call. The technology we have now everyone has caller ID. I tried to call three times from home and one time from my cell phone while in route to the restaurant. I arrived at the restaurant at 1:15 p.m. and placed my order at 1:20 p.m. They were busy and waiting to seat customers and graduation parties. There was no one at the counter taking takeout orders. I gave the hostess my order and cellphone number to call me once the order was ready. I waited in my car for an hour, and the hostess had not called to say anything. So, I went back to the restaurant and asked about my order. She said that it was not ready, so another customer came into the restaurant for takeout. She is gone within five minutes because she was able to place an order over the phone. Please keep in mind that if someone had answered the phone earlier, all of this could have been avoided. So, the hostess came and checked on me, and gave me an update about the order. She tells me they are about to start on my pasta order. I asked her to get a manager about the wait time for my order. I requested a refund for the pasta. The manager passed by me twice and when she did arrive to the takeout counter. She requested a payment but had not given me my first receipt from the original order. She did not apologize for the lateness, inconvenience, and inconsistency caused by the restaurant. This is unacceptable and they continued to make EXCUSES for bad behavior and business because it was a graduation day. I will never recommend or enter this business again. I can only describe my experience as WONDERFUL, WONDERFUL, WONDERFUL! The food is outstanding, and the customer service is exceptional. I ordered the Turkey Wings with rice, beans, and cabbage, and it was absolutely delicious. I had enough left over for another meal the next day! It had a bit of spice to it, but nothing too overwhelming. The staff is incredibly friendly, making you feel right at home. Such warm-hearted people! I absolutely love this place!

I even managed to get my husband to try the food, which is quite a miracle since he’s very picky. We will definitely be coming back!
I'm not from the area, but I paid $86 online for a pickup order scheduled for 7:30 PM. Unfortunately, I went to the wrong "Godfrey" location. I tried calling three times to inform them that I was on my way, but each time the line was busy. When I finally arrived at 8:01 PM, the place was closed. I would have expected someone to either call and check if I was coming or refund my money. I hope I can get my money back when they reopen.
