This is the highest rated BBQ joint in the area and it's pretty good. The menu is pretty big, but it's mostly variations of a few core items. It's a great way to run a shop like this. The Slaw Dog was great. The hot dog was beef and tasted great. I gotmine with onions and mustard and I loved it. The BBQ plate was good too. The pork was really good smoked pork. It had a nicesmoke ring and good bark. There wasn't any rub on it, which was actually pretty nice. It paired great with the hot BBQsauce. They use quite a bit of store bought items, like the potato salad, doctored beans, no bake cheesecake, but it doesn'tmatter. It's not a pretentious BBQ shop. It's just good food you want to eat. I'll eat here again, for sure.

I've been a loyal customer for years and have always left satisfied. For just 50 bucks, you can indulge in a half rack of ribs, a pound of brisket, and a variety of sides. Just be prepared to need a pillow afterward because you'll definitely have a food coma! Independence Day in the Smoky Hills of Tennessee never tasted so good... I absolutely love it!
Exit 87 BBQ ranks among the top three BBQ places I’ve ever experienced! It was absolutely incredible. Tim was exceptionally hospitable and made me feel right at home. I could have spent the whole day there! I’m already looking forward to my next visit, and I’m thrilled to have checked off another spot from my bucket list that I didn’t even realize I wanted to try!
I absolutely love this place! Whenever I'm craving BBQ, this is my go-to spot. The food is delicious and the prices are very reasonable. I can easily feed my family of three—two big eaters and one who prefers lighter portions—for several days without spending too much. I can't recommend it enough! Also, I appreciate that they keep their menu and sauce updated with their 2022 prices.
