I was pleasantly surprised to find a large table available so quickly on a summer Saturday. I have a few friends who know what "Pull up at Char" means, and I couldn't help but smile.
Best crab cakes I have ever tried- I especially love how the side greens are seasoned to compliment the dish. My favorite butter crunch cake and pecan pie are absolute heaven. Great food great service. Try it.
When we visit Jackson, Chars is one of our favorite stops. Lunch in the bar area is what we enjoy. The food is very good and the service is great, attentive but not worrisome. Good food draws lots of folks, so get a reservation.
Everything from the time we walked in until we walked out the door was delightful. The wait staff were very attentive, the food was cooked to perfection and served in a timely fashion. We enjoyed our experience at Char tremendously!
