Nestled near Cornell, this bustling eatery offers a strong drink selection and standout burgers—especially the lamb burger with blue cheese and fresh toppings—earning loyal fans for balanced, flavorful fare. While some praise the attentive, compassionate service and charming ambiance, others report inconsistent food quality, slow service, and questionable management practices, including surprising gratuity charges and occasional poor customer treatment. Busy hours bring noise and cramped seating, and some dishes, like the risotto, disappoint. Overall, the restaurant shines in drinks and select dishes but struggles with consistency, pricing, and equitable service, leaving diners with mixed experiences.
Horrible place and obvious racist. We have been waiting at the bar for a good 15 mins, asked female bartender twice for a menu. Then after decided on the drink, we tried to order more than three times. Every time she said I?m busy, let me deal with otherstuffs. Apparently, her other stuffs include chatting with a group of white people and ignoring us. After the third attempt toorder, we left. Bottom line, if you don?t look white, don?t even go there, they will ignore you.
Happy hour drink specials are great, but the food leaves a lot to be desired and the service is iffy at best. Our waiter didn't ask if we wanted more drinks before happy hour ended and then got upset with us for going to the bar instead. Also DO NOT orderthe risotto- its awful. Our waiter also added a 20% gratuity even though our party was only 4 people.
The service was exceptional, and the food was remarkable. There was an impressive selection on both the food and drink menus. I would highly recommend this restaurant.
The food was outstanding, particularly the burger and appetizers. The portion sizes were quite ample. However, it was a little crowded.
Outstanding service, tasty food, and a lovely ambiance. It's a great place for pub-style dining.
