As someone who often works nearby, I always make a point to have lunch at The Windmill In The City. The food is always fresh and incredibly delicious, especially the pasta dishes. So from the outside it feels like you are going to enter a really old building which may have lots of nooks and crannies with massive tradition. In reality however, this pub is owned by a biggish brewery and just feels like a chain pub. We sat in the bar area which is like any pub in any high street. Service friendly but uninspiring.
