What Kim Darrah likes about Calaloo:
Wow had the best shrimp lunch ever! My husband and I needed a snack and shared the Langostinos (huge shrimp or prawns) dripping in tons of garlic and oil. The papas fritas (French fries) were also perfect, especially when dipping through the garlic oil. We sat upstairs relaxing with their fun music and a cold beer overlooking the bay view. What Karsten Meisel doesn't like about Calaloo:
The location is nice, right at Honda beach. I had fish chips. Fish was good also the chips. But the chips were too less. And the Sauce tartar was a convenience product, like a MC Donald’s sauce. Another bad thing are the prices of the drinks. National beer costs $3 and a small glass of wine $8. This is usury. In my opinion it’s a tourist trap. View all feedback.
