Fishface, an unexpected café nestled in Ipswich, offers a unique dining experience marked by its quirky ambiance reminiscent of a paint shop. While some patrons rave about the inviting decor and exceptional coffee, others regard the service and food quality as inconsistent. Reviews reveal issues with meal accuracy, value for money, and uncomfortable seating, alongside a few delightful dishes like their full English breakfast and cheese scones. This eclectic venue may spark mixed feelings, striking a balance between chaos and charm, making it a memorable stop for those seeking an unorthodox café experience in the town center.
A lovely little cafe/shop with probably (in my opinion) the best coffee in Ipswich it beats the big chains hands down.

I visited this restaurant for the second time all the way from Colchester. I enjoyed the lovely relaxed atmosphere, comfortable seating, and delicious vegan coffee and vegan lemon cake.
I come here quite often, sometimes alone and sometimes with a friend and every time I thoroughly enjoy the food and the atmosphere. A very underrated cafe and needs to be recognised much more. Perfect food always delicious and a wide range of teas available. With vegan and vegetarian and gluten free options this cafe is perfect!!
Visited here for coffee and cake, but I declined the cake as everything on offer looked dry and stale. We sat on filthy yellow armchairs, the service was extremely slow and disorganised. I could not decide whether this was a junk shop or a cafe. There was a bottle of water on the table, which looked like the flowers had been stolen from it.! An eclectic mix of tat and more tat. A very odd place.
