Harry Izzy's is an upscale American grill located on the Northside of Indy. The ambiance exudes class and sophistication in a comfortable setting. The lively bar is the focal point, but we also offer unique dining rooms and a beautiful second floor mezzanine overlooking the restaurant. As a sister restaurant to the famous St. Elmo Steak House, we share a few classic dishes like the St. Elmo Shrimp Cocktail and prime aged steaks, but also offer a more diverse menu. We are open for lunch and dinner daily. Harry Izzy's is locally owned and operated.

Guests had mixed experiences at Harry and Izzy’s restaurant. Some were disappointed with the bad food and service during a Christmas Eve party, while others enjoyed delicious steaks and sides. The atmosphere was comfortable and the service was excellent for some, while others felt the wait staff was not attentive enough. Despite some shortcomings, many guests found the food to be excellent and the drinks to be top-notch. Overall, Harry and Izzy’s seems to be a hit or miss restaurant, with some diners planning to return and others feeling unsure about giving it another try.
We haven’t been to this restaurant for several years. Finally decided to try it. Steak was done perfectly and delicious, salmon, the same. Service was excellent and a very comfortable atmosphere. We will go back.
I rated 3 and my boyfriend rated 4 stars. We both ordered filet mignon. He got the mashed potatoes and I got the green beans. We also got the famous shrimp cocktail. Compliment sandwich here… the sides were very tasty and not overly done with oil or butter. The rolls were good with lots of butter. I really enjoyed the shrimp cocktail, but you MUST be a fan of horseradish. My boyfriend did not like it at all, but he dislikes horseradish. The cocktail sauce had a quick sharp bite to it, so get ready. I gave Harry and Izzy’s 3 stars because I am a steak snob. I love to cook and rarely eat out because I make things the way I like. I ordered a medium rare steak. For over $50, I would have expected it to be correctly cooked. It was well done and not good. In my opinion, a well done steak is a great way to ruin a steak. My boyfriend likes his steak burnt to a crisp and he liked it. He thought it had a lot of flavor. The waitress did send the manager over, but I’m not into giving a second chance on a first impression with food. The atmosphere was nice. I had a very good Cabernet Sauvignon (I got the Justin, Paso Rubles). I don’t think I will eat here again unless I have gift card.
Awesome dinner and service. Our waitress Diamond was top notch. We are looking forward to dining there again in the very near future
Beautiful restaurant but my steak was medium rare when I ordered medium. I didn’t like the choice of sides either. I can get a better steak at Ruth’s Chris!
