Nestled near Hounslow High Street, this vibrant pub boasts a spacious terrace perfect for enjoying a cold beer in the sun. While it can get lively during football matches, creating a bustling atmosphere, it also offers cozy spots for intimate gatherings. Diners often praise the food quality and friendly service, despite occasional delays. However, some customers have expressed frustrations over underwhelming drink selections and strict policies regarding closing times. Despite these drawbacks, the overall ambiance and welcoming staff make it a popular choice, though its impending relocation has left some longtime patrons disheartened. A nuanced destination for locals.

Was Anonym at Yates a mag?
Yes, the bar staff is ****, but it certainly has a warm and quiet environment in the early hours. great place to spend with a loved one or so e friend. I also love the football thing. View all feedback.
What Anonym dislikes about Yates:
with beautiful weather and post-purchasing we were looking for a cold beer in the sun. a colleague has proposed this place and we do not regret it. they have a large terrace outside and while it's loud and busy, it's not bad in the sun. had only chips to munch, so it's hard to comment on eating, but overall was not a bad evening. 5 stars based on how good it used to be 10+ years ago. Not that it matters now as it is closed but thanks for the memories Yates
Not from the area and the staff were very friendly in helping me with directions. The food was also good and prepared quite quickly
Do not waste your time going to this restaurant. It is dirty, the service is terrible, and the food is truly awful. It was much more expensive than a Wetherspoons, and there is a Wetherspoons just a few hundred yards away. It is the worst value for money I have ever encountered.
I went to Yates with some friends for lunch after we checked into our hotel nearby. My partner ordered a couple of beers, I had a large glass of white wine, and we also requested a jug of hot water for my baby. Unfortunately, the wine was warm as they didn't have anything chilled available, which was strange for a bar. The hot water was served in a glass, which seemed like a health and safety issue. We ordered food as we were hungry from travelling all morning. My partner got the Even a Bigger Breakfast for £9.95, I ordered the 8oz rump steak for £8.75, and our friend chose some lighter options like garlic bread (£2.25) and chicken wings (£4.25). Overall, we found the food to be quite overpriced for the quality we received. My steak was watery and the chips were stale and cold, as if they had been reheated from the night before. My partner's breakfast was decent overall, but the chicken was dry and the garlic bread was burnt but warm. I used to come to this restaurant when I was younger for drinks with friends and occasionally eat here, but I was disappointed with the food this time. The staff, though friendly, spent a lot of time complaining about the manager while they were serving us, clearing tables, or collecting glasses. It's a shame, but I don't think I'll be returning.
