Me's BBQ in Honolulu stands out as a hidden gem for those seeking hearty, authentic Korean flavors. Diners rave about the tender galbi BBQ, often described as the light of the menu, overshadowing other offerings like the barbecued chicken and fish jun. Although portion sizes for sides have decreased, the main dishes remain generous enough for sharing. The atmosphere is casual, with a no-frills approach to service, hinting that friendly smiles may not be in abundance. For those craving satisfying takeout, this spot ensures quick service and delicious meals, especially ideal for late-night hunger pangs. Cash payments are preferred here.

My partner and I had just arrived in Honolulu and were craving some hot, delicious food right away. A quick search led me to this restaurant, and based on the reviews, I had a good feeling about it. I wasn't disappointed—the meat dish I ordered was spectacular, and my partner's barbecued chicken was equally tasty. The portions were huge; we definitely could have shared, but we ended up finishing every bite! View all feedback.
What Stacey W dislikes about Me -b-que:
Walked over for a later carryout meal. Decided to order 2 different boxes to go. Ordered the fish jun and also the noodle soup dish. The fish jun box was a smaller portions than anticipated as it seems they reduced the amount of sides to chose since 2022. You are only allowed 2 vegetable sides. The fish jun was good and should definitely be eaten hot/warm and not when cold. The noodles were decent too, not much in th... View all feedback.
Beautiful small food stop for Korean foods think Panda Express but for Korean. Large portion definitely enough for 2 people on 1 record. Not much information on the pages, so I can see pictures of them.
Kay Vea I tried this joint when it was over the street from where our accusation was. True to the previous reviews, it doesn't look like much of the exterior is smart. We ordered 3 meals for dinner. A combination Bbq ribs chicken, a combination bbq ribs beef fried squid. All 3 meals came with 4 pages each. The price for meals was quite decent. We were lucky that we got our order in a table when we did it when it was really busy for the little connection soon after. Our meals came out in time. The ribs chicken were beautiful and went well with the accompanied rice, Mac, Broccoli hack Suey as noodles chosen as a side dish. The beef-fried squid was a waste and was the only disappointing aspects of dinner. Would like to return, if ever in the area. Mahalo!
Great food, large portions, good price and fast friendly service! Would come back! We ordered the Kalbi-Rind and BBQ-Hähnchen-Combo and it was amazing to also come with four sides!
The galbi BBQ (#1) is absolutely delicious! The meat was tender and easy to eat, unlike many other places where I've had Korean BBQ ribs that tend to be chewy. You get to choose four side dishes; I opted for the potatoes, kimchi, japchae, and macaroni salad, and they were all just average. The real highlight of the meal was definitely the meat. I've already recommended Me's BBQ to a few friends, and they loved it as well! Just a heads up: cash payments are encouraged, as there is a processing fee for card payments.
