LOVE this restaurant, they have the BEST fried chicken, mashed potatoes, Texas toast and lumpy applesauce. Not a good place to go if you are dieting...
Great food! Some of the best fried chicken I've ever had! Will definitely come again when in the area. We called on our way in, knowing we would be there less than a half hour before closing. They said come on down and gave us great service in a real friendly down home atmosphere.
Drove 45 minutes to try the chicken based on reviews. SPOT ON! Large juicy pieces cooked perfectly. The delicious pickled beets are canned on site. We will definitely go back!
