Great food and service. Very friendly staff and very accommodating for our two children. We all ate until we were full and went into our pockets with two more meals worth of food. Great neighborhood restaurant and good Italian food. I would recommend the Calimari as a starter who can keep up with the best that Chicago has to offer. 10 out of 10 experiences we will come back! ????????

A group of us went here for dinner. The menu was not expansive but what they served were on point. The atmosphere was comfortable and service was efficient and professional. We would definitely come back.
My first time having California Cuisine (as a Californian) and it was such a wonderfully executed dining experience. The heirloom gazpacho was a nice start to the meal and a very nice surprise in the flavor department: light, floral, and enhancedwith the natural sweetness of the heirloom melon. I thought the scallop dish was very nice but needed a touch of heat and acid;it still was a very solid and interesting app. The duck breast is a must-get. It was everything I expected of a duck breastdish from the California cuisine perspective and more: succulent, crispy skin, perfectly mid rare, and yet it never ate heavy.Use of duck confit in the salad portion of the dish was both smart and delicious. My partner loved the halibut, which wasglistening from what I saw. Loved the meal so much and a perfect end to a trip from the wine country. Thanks Valette!
