Rayners - HARROW
Rayners
Description
The dining experience at this longstanding restaurant presents a mixed bag of impressions. While some patrons celebrate its cozy atmosphere post-refurbishment and commend the deliciousness of dishes like chicken tikka masala and mixed grill, others express disappointment in the service, highlighting delays in food delivery and inattentive staff. Concerns about bland flavors and questionable food freshness also arise. For a restaurant acclaimed for its Tandoori offerings, the inconsistency in service and quality raises questions about its reliability. Potential diners may want to consider these contrasting experiences before planning their visit.

I have taken my family to eat and made a disappointing experience. the personal is not attentive, although it had no other customers to visit. we ordered a few foods that usually take up to 15 to 30 minutes to deliver in an enlivened kitchen, unfortunately it took more than an hour to deliver and my children were asleep. I would not recommend for the family.
One word... Yummy!!. Visited this restaurant a few days ago, they have had a refurbishment with a new, and improved, sign and interior decor. As soon as i walked in i was made to feel very welcome by the staff and was not rushed at any part of our evening, which i find happening at many places! Food was amazing i myself had a mixed grill with a variety of meats and chicken which was delicious and my friend had a bhuna chicken which i tried and loved. even thought the menu is a little bit pricey its worth the difference from the other restaurants nearby. recommend it to everyone!
A advice: don't go there. I and my partner went there last week, ordered in 5 minutes what we want, it was a simple order, 1 hour by and we don't even have the starters. they are too busy with their deliveries and certainly not in the position to treat the customers in the restaurant. eating has no aromas, everything is so bland and definitiw not fresh. we took the special chicken beryani home and it was spoiled by tomorrow. do you know why u do not find Indians eating in this restaurant? ask their local Indian friends, where they go to eat or take away. u will certainly be a great difference in taste between this restaurant and what it suggested.
The rayners is one of the oldest restaurants on the rayners lane curry strip and the first I visited when I moved into the opposite five years ago. back then we did not find it spicy enough for our taste and became of a strange water function they had (dink stagnant drain with water into it). it was refurbished last year (to remove the water function), so we thought it was time that we gave him another away. that's not all. the rayers were founded in 1987 and seem to be always busy at weeks. it is a Tandoori restaurant so that a Tandoori court was to start. we ordered the ente tikka 4.95) and king prawn puree 4.95) the duck was delicious, delicate stripes of breast meat, full of...read more
I just finished dining at this restaurant. It was a complete waste of money. If you consider an onion to be a spice, then you may enjoy it. I complained to the waiter, who promptly disappeared. I then spoke to the owner, who brushed off our concerns. As I was leaving, I was accosted on the street. This must be the fastest restaurant in the area for a reason. Serious Asian food enthusiasts should steer clear of this place.
