**A Sweet Yet Sour Experience at Bruster’s** Bruster’s, while praised for its delectable ice cream and generous sample sizes, has recently faced criticism over inconsistent service and staff demeanor. Customers have reported order mix-ups and a lack of attentiveness from employees, raising concerns about hygiene practices. Despite its kid-friendly ambiance and ample parking, the service experience has marred some visits. Many patrons express fond memories tied to the beloved flavors, with standout treats like the Peanut Butter Graham and Butter Pecan earning accolades. This hidden gem still holds promise, but it’s clear that improvements in service and communication are urgently needed.
Went with the kids and ordered them child (under 40 free baby cones) in a dish, along with my order. Didn't realize until after they charged my card that they charged me $3.42 for EACH instead of free. Not even a full baby cup for $3.42?! No thanks, Iwon't be back.
Delicious!!!! Had a banana pudding waffle cone???? drooling just thinking of it. Our server was sweet and gave us a ton of wet wipes for our tiny humans
There were more locations in the past, not sure what happened to many of them. Bruster?s has some good ice cream treats and the locations left, seem to be busy most nights. They have some good speciality flavors and even have some non-dairy options. (Welove dairy so didn?t have any of them so not sure how they are)
Very disappointed in the way the young employee handled the situation that was at hand; i was super excited to try the oat milk ice cream, but didn’t know if they’d have it. We asked the one employee if they had the two oat milk flavors, which he said yes to. We ordered, and then a young girl called us up and said that there was a problem with our order and chose to get snarky. We asked for a refund since their employee didn’t relay the correct information to us. No apology whatsoever for a mess up on their accord. With that said, my boyfriend had said “thanks for wasting our time,” and she said “no problem.” Extremely unprofessional and it never used to be like that years ago. If you’re going to have employees that deal with customers, please make sure that they're capable of having the personality to be in that profession. It isn’t that difficult to own up to your mistakes and be empathetic. Sincerely- someone who has worked 8 years in customer service positions and has had to deal with far worse interactions and public than just that. Food: 5 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
Stopped in tonight to get ice cream with the family. I ordered a kids dino sundae with chocolate ice cream and syrup, another with non dairy vanilla and syrup, a normal hot fudge sundae, and another item. The first was made with vanilla and syrup, the second was also vanilla and syrup, but not non dairy (glad I double checked) with no syrup. I asked about the non dairy, and they had no clue. They did remake it but I didn't say anything about the wrong ice cream for the first one. While they were making the last sundae, we heard the workers say they hoped we liked hot fudge (it was loaded with hot fudge on the bottom). Another worker was complaining about her bad day and that she was about to cry. I get it, we all have bad days but you don't do that in earshot of customers. I remember why we don't go here often. The kids didn't eat theirs, and My wife couldn't finish hers. You're better off going to the grocery store and dipping your own ice cream, which is what I did after paying for this.
