Wow this place has great food! Bf and I came here on a Wednesday before Xmas to grab some drinks and apps. Live music started at 9 in the upstairs portion of the restaurant but there was a $10 cover to get upstairs. We could hear the music perfectly from our booth downstairs lol. Onto the food... I ordered the potstickers and the crab dip with pita bread. Omg. Potstickers were to die for and the crab dip was so fresh. Even had jalapeño peppers in it! It was delicious. Bf got spicy meatballs, basket of fries and chicken tenders. He absolutely loved the meatballs and chicken tenders saying it was some of the best he's had. The fries were just OK. Nothing special, kinda droopy lol. Service was excellent. Our service kept our glasses filled and was very friendly. We will definitely come back, this place is great!
This place is so amazing that I felt compelled to write an updated review. I first started visiting Taphouse to relax after work on Mondays. I know the weekend just ended, but who actually enjoys Mondays? Pint night was what drew me in, but it’s the food that keeps me coming back. About four months ago, a server named Jules urged my friend and me to try one of the specials, and ever since then, I've been ordering a special every Monday at Taphouse. Whoever their chef is deserves a raise! Taphouse truly has the best bar food in all of Hampton, and I stand by that! When friends ask where to eat in my area, I suggest three places (I like to offer options): Venture, Smoke, and Taphouse—and I absolutely rave about Taphouse! I’ve just convinced myself to go there after work today. Great review, Airik!
