the acupuncture in the inner is terrible. the waiter greets us but does not bring a menu for min, then forget the starter and bring the wrong drink. Nex waiter who binds without the starter to eat will be loud when reliant on hitting the starter. from the order. they wait for the bill again. flame cake was good, even the ribs; therefore still staring View all feedback.
We arrived just before the busier crowd so we were able to get a seat, but if we had shown up any later we may not have gotten a seat. This place seems great for larger gatherings and the energyvibe was perfect for it. Mostly...simple dishes offered here and its more about the beverages offered than anything else but even with its simplicity, the food was done just right. Nothing super fancy, but well enough for a fine fun evening
I have come here for years and really like the restaurant and the decor. Has a bit of Hamburg history the Elb Tunnel and is still stylish. Suggest always to make a reservations as it mostly booked out. I come here with family, friend and...also have business partner join me here for lunch or dinner. The recommendation is the currywurst, the cesar salad and the original flammkuchen. The drinks are great and for happy hours it is worth to order a cocktail ! Deficit is that it is often very loud when the restaurant it full and it is almost impossible to get a parking spot even in surrounding streets

It's all in the realm of something you could do once in a while, especially with a larger group. The food is okay but not amazing, the location is quite iconic, but very loud. The service is attentive, but a bit overwhelmed when it's busy. Overall, not a disappointment, but nothing to write home about either.
It's worth a visit. Saturday breakfast was great, as was the service. We'll definitely be back.
