The portions are huge! Went there for lunch and they offered some soup, not sure if it was sample for that day or they do it all the time. If you want seating, you want to go early for lunch as the place is pretty popular and seating is taken up quickly. View all feedback.

Just like the other reviews say, the cafe is not particularly large and is fairly plain -- however the food is great. Portions are large, hot and tasty. Even for someone like me who does not eat meat there were plenty of choices. Try and eat here any time I am in Halifax and always leave stuffed.
WOW! What a delicious flavorful meal we had, and plenty of it. Cooked to perfection, everything we had tasted wonderful. We ordered the peppercorn chicken and a chicken kebab with a selection of sides. The guys doing the cooking knew the dishes and could answer our questions with knowledge. You could tell they loved their jobs. The tables could have been wiped down better. Ours was sticky. We'll be back.
Mezza and other downtown spots are good for late-night eats, but if you're looking for true authentic and nutritious Mediterranean cuisine, this is the place to go!
