A small group dropped by there last weekend and we all left very impressed with the food! what we were served in taste and value far out weighed the cost. Top Chef food and presentation with the normal pub fare price. Our waitress was just...a sweet heart,made several trips back and forth to ensure we had what we needed and our drinks were topped off. The bar itself is very tastefully done in the traditional local pub style and all seems very relaxing. The big bonus was finding out that all the food was sourced locally in support of local small farmers, and a special touch was they are replacing paper coasters with cloth Tartan Pattern,of local Families and Regions.Nice Touch! Great Job.
We made reservations for a dinner before an event taking place nearby. The restaurant was busy but the waitress was not helpful or apologetic at all for our long wait for food and drinks. It took hours for our mains to be served. An...acknowledgment of this and an apology would have gone a long way. We won’t be back.
The Foggy Goggle serves up a great breakfast menu! Be sure to get the breakfast sandwich made on a LF bakery croissant. Game changer.
I tried the Steak Bluecheese Salad at this restaurant. The steak was cooked perfectly to my liking and the salad was a tasty addition. Our server was very friendly and attentive, taking good care of us throughout our meal. We were having such a great time that we decided to go downstairs after dinner for some flourless chocolate cake and coffee. We sat on the comfortable couches, played a game of Scrabble and cards, and enjoyed the music playing in the background. Additionally, the gluten-free burger buns were exceptional. We will definitely be coming back to this restaurant.
