Established in 1905 as The Mosconi Hotel, San Benito House is one of the oldest hotels in Half Moon Bay. Originally known for its bargain-priced, family-style Italian dinners, the hotel has been extensively restored and remodeled by Carol Mickelsen. The dining room now exudes a charming French country inn atmosphere, with seating for 56 guests. The saloon, gleaming with polished wood and brass, features early Coast side photographs on the walls and an impressive collection of large animal heads that once hung in the Museum of Natural History in Santa Barbara.
