it is nice to sit at the window in this little caffe, while they go on a well made cup tee and with a delicious, at the moment made, sandwich, while watching the people go by and regret, not in the position to eat the various delightful pastries on the counter near. The menu is not extensive but the staff was so friendly that I am giving them a full four stars for that! Plus my husband enjoyed his flat white and the banana cake when heated up is lovely: moist and bursting with flavour.

Excellent bread, selection of cakes and pastries and good coffee. Quiche was lovely. Small seating area. Loved it.
This cafe has always provided the perfect cup of coffee, and I've tested all the cafes in Stoke Newington! Their freshly baked cakes and bread for their delicious sandwiches are always superb. The atmosphere is lovely, great music, friendly staff and always beautiful fresh flowers on the tables. The sister café to the Kauri Tree is at Ribbons and Taylor across the road which serves the same great coffee and snacks. I can't recommend this cafe enough.
