The food at this restaurant is consistently delicious, with the summer rolls being a standout favorite. However, the service we experienced was truly disappointing. One waitress in particular, who seems to have been there for a while, was consistently rude and appeared to have a negative attitude. It is unfortunate that someone in a customer service role would conduct themselves in such a manner. Hopefully, she does not rely on tips as her primary source of income. It is disheartening to encounter such negativity in what should be a pleasant dining experience.
No frills, delicious food and BYO booze! Always my top choice of Vietnamese food on kingsland road.
Pleasant atmosphere and service but the food disappointing and pricey for what it was. The steamed rice rolls had tiny shrimps, rather than prawns, the deep fried fish was bland and the Singapore noodles horrible. There are much better options nearby.

Very poor service. They take cash only (which they keep very hush about until after you 've already ordered) and upon telling the waiter I had no cash on me all I got was a dismissive you can go to Sainsbury 's and I had to head over there in the pouring rain. The Vietnamese iced coffee was very nice but the food itself was nothing special. At the end of the meal we were handed an ineligible hand-written bill.
