Was Anonym at Red Lion a mag?
it is surprising to find a bar in the uber-trendy shoreditch that is not overpriced and full of businessmen, but the red lion is well hidden enough to disturb the relaxed and friendly crowd of people who only want to sit in the sun and drink not disturbed. View all feedback.

Went here for a Sunday roast on my own here. As soon as the ‘beef roast dinner’ was plonked in front of me, in what I can only describe as a school-like hall with shocking furniture, I instantly felt ill. The ‘beef’ was a cheap bit of steak, leathery, like an old persons skin that had been overexposed to the sun. I couldn’t even cut through it. The gravy must have come out of a packet as it was still powdered when poured over my dinner. The roast potatoes, nothing special. The veg was obviously frozen packet veg, barely even heated in a microwave. And the aunt bessies Yorkshire puddings were really the icing on top of the cake. I didn’t eat a bite of the food and I wouldn’t have paid, but payment is taken when you order. I tried to find a member of staff when leaving to voice my opinion but couldn’t locate anyone anywhere in the building. I would honestly rather go hungry than ever have food served to me in this established again.
With a £10 pizza and pint how could you go wrong!! Terrific rooftop garden which is surprisingly spacey, pizzas are actually very nice considering the price. Staff are friendly. A very well priced place considering everything else in the are is expensive.
