To make matters worse, the individual who seemed to be the manager appeared utterly uninterested in addressing the issue. Their lack of concern for customer service was clear, and it was obvious they had no intention of rectifying the situation or even acknowledging the problem. In addition to the dreadful customer service, the overall cleanliness of the cafe was significantly lacking. The tables were dirty and neglected, which made me feel uncomfortable during my visit. As a paying customer, I expect a certain level of courtesy and respect. Unfortunately, my experience at Bagel Bakery Cafe fell woefully short of these expectations. It’s disheartening to see a place that claims to offer quality service and products fail so badly in practice. I had hoped for a nice visit to enjoy some delicious bagels, but instead, I encountered an unprofessional and neglectful environment. The lack of attention to customers and the poor state of the cafe is simply unacceptable. I will not be returning to Bagel Bakery Cafe, and I would strongly advise others to think twice before visiting. It’s clear that they have a lot of work to do in improving their customer service and cleanliness standards. I believe businesses should value their customers and take feedback seriously. Unfortunately, my experience at Bagel Bakery Cafe shows that they have a long way to go in understanding the importance of genuine customer care. I am left feeling disappointed and dissatisfied.
The food is quite good, but the customer service leaves much to be desired.
I ordered two bagels with cream cheese today, and I was shocked to find them excessively loaded with cream cheese when I got to work—completely unappealing. I've included photos for reference. This is the second time I've had this issue. When I placed my order on my way to work, the woman called me back to ask if I wanted them toasted; I repeated three times that I didn't want them toasted from the beginning. It’s not a complicated request, and it’s honestly quite frustrating. I tried to call to see if Michael was available, but I was told he’s on vacation until after Labor Day. I hate to say it, but I might not be returning to this place anymore.
Additionally, I found it unprofessional and disheartening when you laughed in response to my concern. Because of this experience, I regret to inform you that I will no longer be visiting Bagel Buffet. I sincerely hope you will take customer feedback seriously and reconsider your pricing and service practices. Thank you.
The staff should be mindful not to make comments about customers' orders, especially while they are still eating. This made for a somewhat uncomfortable experience.
