Located inside the Hotel Majapahit, it is a fairly good dining restaurant with a decent collection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages Ambience is good although lighting can be improved upon in some areas at night. Staff are courteous and friendly and service is good. The only drawback is that English is poorly understood but this is almost the same all over Indonesia. You have to make sure that the waiter understands your order if you don't want to be served a wrong dish. We ate breakfast and dinner there. Patronage seemed low which may be due to its closeness to Tunjungan Plaza which has a lot of eateries. Indonesian cuisines seem to be better prepared than continental dishes. The chef took time to walk round to offer some tips about the dishes during breakfast.
Located inside the Hotel Majapahit, it is a good fine-dining restaurant with a decent collection of drinks/cocktails to try out. Ambience is good (interior seating), staff is very friendly and service is good. I went there for lunch on a weekend, it was not very crowded though, but food was of decent and cocktails were of okay quality.
The best Macaroni Au Grantin, so creamy with Dutch cheese. Majapahit Ice Cream Coup also great with a touch of spekkulaas cake Dices. The signature Cappuccino Mushroom Soup is also unique. Waiters are so friendly. Definitely for fine food with historical scenes round.
Very nice place, good food and so lovely staff. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
We had a great breakfast here. The food was excellent as were the staff. They could teach other lesser hotels the art of service, elegance and poise. One of the best hotels in SEA. Together with all the history, a truly marvelous place and not one to be missed. Ronny was very friendly and knowledgeable and the Sambal superb. We will be back.
